Reflecting on your experimentation with the old camera, it occurs to me that the "great" element is not so much the fr'in Internet, as much as your own willingness to deploy good'ol' fashioned initiative and inventiveness in shimming about with that old hearing aid battery which doesn't quite work. A perfect attitude for working in the developing world, where various parts are hard indeed to come by!
